This map displays estimated biomass of trees that died from drought and insect attack in California between 2013 and 2017. You can download a subset of the results in one of three ways: select a county, draw a polygon, or upload a shapefile. Downloading results for a large geographical area may take several minutes.

Data for this analysis came from the LEMMA lab at Oregon State University and the USDA Forest Service Region 5. The analysis was performed by Carmen Tubbesing at the University of California, Berkeley, ctubbesing@berkeley.edu.
